Google ReviewThe work that never gets to the top of the pile
Most owners I meet lose the best part of a day a month to financial admin. Chasing receipts, second-guessing the GST coding, re-reading an ATO letter three times to work out whether it actually matters.
It is not that the work is hard. It is that it sits on your desk instead of someone else's, and it is never the work you are best at.
One fixed monthly fee takes the whole thing off your plate, and you get the number before I start.
Is this for you?
You're a small business owner
Sole trader, company, or trust. You're doing $100K-$2M in turnover and need someone who understands businesses your size.
You want more than just a tax return
You're looking for year-round support, proactive advice, and someone who actually explains your numbers.
You value your time
You'd rather spend your hours on clients and growth than wrestling with BAS, bookkeeping, and ATO paperwork.
You want fixed fees, no surprises
You're tired of hourly billing and surprise invoices. You want to know exactly what you're paying upfront.
Probably not you
A single salary and a couple of deductions. Lodge it yourself on myTax and keep the money. If there is a business schedule, a rental, staff, or a few years to catch up, that is when I am worth the fee.
What working with me actually looks like
Most of my clients are not buying a tax return. They are on one fixed monthly fee that covers the BAS, the returns, the lodgements, and every question they think of in between.
From $250 a month for a GST-registered sole trader, $350 for a company or trust. The fee is agreed in writing before anything starts, it does not move for 12 months, and there is no lock-in.

Why Summit Tax Exists
After a decade in accounting, I saw too many business owners left in the dark. They had the numbers, but not the clarity needed to make smart decisions.
I started Summit to change that. My skill is taking a complex subject and explaining it in a way that provides genuine confidence. Every client I work with tells me the same thing: "I wish I'd found you sooner."
I also believe a simple truth: paying tax is a positive sign. It's tangible proof of your success. My role is to manage that success for you. By claiming every entitled deduction and planning together all year round, I make your tax obligations completely predictable, so there are no more surprise tax bills.

Individual tax returns start at $390. Ongoing business work, which is where most of my clients sit, starts at $250 a month for a GST-registered sole trader and $350 a month for a company or trust. Those are starting points, not your quote: the exact fee depends on what your business actually needs, and you get it as one fixed number, in writing, before anything starts. It does not move for 12 months, and it covers the BAS, the returns, the lodgements and the questions in between. The full detail is on the pricing page.
Everything your business has to lodge, plus the ability to pick up the phone without a clock starting. We agree the exact scope at the strategy session and it goes in writing. Bookkeeping and payroll are quoted separately, because transaction volume and staff numbers vary too much to fix a price around them before I have seen your books.
Most accountants look backwards. They tell you in October what happened in June, when nothing can be changed any more. I work the other way round: we talk before 30 June while the number can still move, and you hear from me through the year rather than once at tax time.
The fee is deductible, so the real cost is lower than the number on the invoice. Beyond that it buys back the hours you lose to admin, and it catches the deductions and timing decisions that only surface when someone is actually looking at your numbers. If I cannot make that case for your business in the first 30 minutes, I will say so.
It takes about ten minutes of your time. You give me the go-ahead, I write to your current accountant for your file and your ATO history, and I handle the handover from there. There is no awkward conversation for you to have, and nothing has to wait for the end of a financial year.
- On time, every time. Every lodgement in on time, provided your records reach me by the date on your calendar.
- The price you agreed, and no other. Your fee is agreed in writing before any work starts, and it doesn't go up for 12 months.
- Never locked in. No fixed term. If it isn't working, end it with 30 days' notice and I'll hand your file to your next accountant promptly.

Where I am
Summit Tax, 443 Nepean Hwy, Brighton East VIC 3187, phone 0410 248 141.
Most of the work happens over Google Meet or the phone these days, so where you are matters less than it used to. If you would rather sit down with someone, the office is on the Nepean Hwy in Brighton East, and I work right across Bayside Melbourne and the suburbs around it.
Your time is too valuable to be lost to tasks you don't enjoy.
In a free 30-minute strategy session, I will personally review your situation and we will map out a plan together. If it feels like a good fit, I'll prepare a straightforward, fixed-fee proposal. No pressure, no surprises, just clarity.
